This is the list that will guide me and allow me to make improve my magazine. I have been given a list of targets and I should be able to meet them all in order to pass.

This is my front cover which is still in working progress I have added a few cover lines and the models quote I have made them bold to catch the readers eye.

This is my front cover I have edited this image on photoshop by getting rid of the shadows and making the image more clear.

This is my contents page which has been updated. However it is still in working progress as I still have to add an advert. which should cover the plain bottom space at the bottom of the page.

Flat plan

This is a brief flat plan of my magazine. I have added my regular item, interviews , double page spreads and adverts to make it look like a realistic magazine.

Masthead

This is the first draft of my masthead it may be used my magazine logo and title. I created this on illustrator I also used adobe color to use them on my logo.

College Magazine Evaluation

College Magazine Front Cover

My front cover was made using a software known as Adobe Photoshop. I used this software which allowed me to create a professional looking front cover. I used many tools such as the brightening tool I also used the paintbrush tool which allowed me to to add colours so that my background doesn't look too messy. I also used shapes and text to create cover lines and flashes.

One thing I like about my front cover is that there is a common colour scheme which makes it look consistent.

Three things I would improve:
1) I would improve the background of the original image so that it doesn't look so busy and take the       reader's attention away from the actual magazine.
2) I would also change the layout as the cover lines and the flashes are  not placed in an orderly               fashion which makes the magazines difficult to understand for the readers.
3) I would also add a date to show when the magazine was released.

College Magazine Contents Page

My contents page was made using Adobe InDesign. I used this software as it allowed me to create a contents page which looked as realistic as possible. I was able to use different images and colours which helped my contents page look attractive.

One thing I like about my contents page is the image because it linked with the genre which allowed my front cover and contents page link.

Three things I would improve:
1) I would improve the text as they are not consistent which makes my magazine look unprofessional.
2) I would also change the colour scheme as nothing looks linked.
3) Another thing I would change is the layout. I would prefer to make my contents page portrait so         that there is less blank spaces this will make sure my contents page does not look too plain.

This is a brief design of my music magazine. I created this using the software which is known as Photoshop. The software provided me with a range of tools and fonts to create this brief cover. I have added the price, a title, a issue number and a barcode to make it look as realistic as possible.
